Cocoon Health are pleased to provide a talk on “Mental Health, Resilience and Wellbeing”. The pandemic has touched all of us including our friends and families in a myriad of ways – one of the “good” things coming out of this time has been the greater transparency and openness around the critical issues of mental health and wellness. No matter what your age, profession, lifestyle or background, we have recognised that depression, stress and anxiety can touch us all and identifying and managing the “daily blues” at one level to seeking appropriate help for more severe symptoms, are skills that we should all be equipped with.

Fortunately, there have been some material advances (from research to medical developments and even digital tools) in this area and we welcome and embrace the frank and constructive dialogue and programmes in the realm of mental health and wellness.

We hope you can join us for what will be a lively, open dialogue with informative insights and practical tools and strategies to take away.

‘Better mental health & total wellbeing’
This is an introductory session to a big topic.
It will be led by David Davenport-Firth* who will introduce and answer the following questions:

  • What is mental health and what influences it?
  • What role does stress play and how might we think about it in a constructive way?
  • What are some top tips to support our mental health & wellbeing?


*David is Managing Partner and Wellbeing Officer for Ogilvy Health in the UK. He holds a masters degree in health psychology, is a fellow of the Royal Society for Public Health and an instructor for Mental Health First Aid England.
