Running
By Nathan Birdsall
We returned to Greenwich Park once again this weekend for our Battle of the Boroughs event.
Another beautiful morning in Greenwich Park welcomed us and our runners, as we and they arrived to compete for their boroughs. We had a good turn out for our fun and competitive 5k and 10k run around the scenic Greenwich Park, with each runner contributing to their boroughs average finishing time which we compiled and posted as soon as the last runner came through the finish arch.
This event saw us slightly adapt our usual Greenwich Park route, though we couldn't miss out those lovely big hills that everyone comes to Greenwich for! Lots of cheers, lots of high fives and lots of sweat and hard work got our runners through the tough course and to the finish line.
A big well done to everyone who took part and please check below to see your boroughs results!
