By Fix Events
We are pleased to be working on this event, the Freedom Run London, a charity race to support freedom in Ukraine.
We would love it if you could either join the run, share it with your community or even just make a small donation.
Please visit the website of Freedom Run to find out more and hopefully to sign up. Thank you and we hope to see you there. The capacity is limited to 500, so do not hesitate to register now.
Thanks from The Fix Events Team - More about the cause can be read below.
Although the war in Ukraine has partially lost its headline status, the suffering of the second largest European country has not stopped for a day since 24th February. Political, economic, humanitarian and military support needs to carry on flowing so that the country and its people win the battle for freedom.
A group of volunteers has gathered to organize Freedom Run (31st July 2022, Hyde Park, London), an event for passionate runners and / or those touched with the events which are unfolding in Ukraine at this very moment. 100% of the funds raised are targeted at specific organizations who have tangible and immediate or long-term impact on those affected by the war. Willing supporters will be able to choose a particular cause towards which a donation will be made: humanitarian, military & medical or long-term youth empowerment. Those in London will be able to donate and run 1.5k / 5k / 10k / 21k, while others have an opportunity to simply donate. There is little time left until 31st July and the number of runner spots is limited to 500, so do not hesitate to register asap. Please visit freedomrun.uk for more details.
Avoiding hurdles of bureaucratic organizations and instead focusing on those having specific uses, such as large food items and tacmed for doctors (via Razom foundation), vision scopes and drones for defenders (via Ukrainian American Coordination Council), long-term assistance to the youth in Ukraine (via EMpower), has been the key priority of Freedom Run.
Hope you will manage to join the race, otherwise donating or spreading the word would be equally important!
