About this event
The challenge is on between the 2 major business districts in London!
It's time to get competitive and run individually for your company and business location or why not get your company running as a team! This is the biggest corporate run challenge that not only brings individuals and companies competing against each other but one that brings a challenge across the City of London and Canary Wharf!
If getting a team together you need at least 4 people but can have an unlimited number of people within your overall team. There's no need to work out teams as it's just the case of getting as many people taking part as you can and groups are simply established by finish times as each person cross the finish line. These will also be split as male, female and mixed!
Results also include individual placings and combined City and Wharf average times to find out the fastest location! It's time to send out the challenge to all of your colleagues, clients and friends and be part of this superb 5k run challenge.

Your race packs will be posted to you prior to the event and will include your race number and race timing chip. Anyone registering within the last few days prior to the event will have to collect this at our registration tent at the event.
ARRIVAL & START TIME
The City v Wharf 5k Run Challenge will start at 6pm so please arrive at least 15 minutes prior to the event start. Please make sure you pin your race number to the front of your t-shirt and your race timing chip should be on your ankle.
LOCATION & PARKING
For location details and how to get there please check details on the right under Getting There. There is no dedicated parking at Victoria Park. Please be sure to plan your journey to arrive on time.
Situated at our event hub.
This is located next to the registration tents. Please note space is very limited so travel as lightly as possible. If you require bag storage make sure you arrive with plenty of time to spare.
THE CITY v WHARF 5k RUN CHALLENGE
The run will kick off at 6pm and will take you around Victoria Park. We will start gathering you in to the start area at 5.50pm. We will have some funky tunes played to get you in the spirit and you will be warmed up by our team.
There will be marshals around the course to support and encourage you. Please check out the course map! Please note placings for this race will be based on chip time.
Please take care when running around the course as this is public land and local residents will be out and about. Please always stay on the left unless otherwise guided. Enjoy this great run around Victoria Park.
Results will be displayed on our race timing screen so after crossing the finish line you can check out your time.
Drinks and snacks will be available at the finish line.
AFTER THE EVENT
Everyone will receive a very cool medal and some great goodies! There will be trophies awarded for overall individual winners, fastest company (minimum of 5 runners per company), most runners from one company, and a number of other awards. Please note these will be presented during the week after the event as all results will need to be assessed.
You will be able to check out your instant race results on our race timing screen.

There is no carparking in Victoria Park so if driving please plan ahead where you will park.
Nearest underground station: Mile End. Plan your journey to Mile End Station
Nearest rail stations: Cambridge Heath/Hackney Wick Station
From Mile End Station, turn left and cross over Mile End Road. Turn right onto Grove Road – it’s about 10-15 minutes walk straight down. Alternatively, you can also walk most of the way through Mile End Park, which runs parallel to Grove Road. You will first arrive at the Crown Gates.
Can I register on the day of the event?
This is possible only if the event isn’t sold out. This will be stated on the website prior to the event.
When do I receive my race pack?
We email you your race number and details and this also goes on the website prior to the event so you can search if you haven’t received your email for any reason. You then collect your race packs at registration on the morning of the event.
How do I know I am registered?
You will receive an email confirming your entry. If a friend or colleague has entered as long as they have used your email address in the entry you will receive confirmation.
Will I receive race information in the lead up to my event?
Yes we send out email updates prior to your event and you can view all event details, news and offers by logging in to your user profile.
Will I be chipped timed?
Yes all our events (unless otherwise stated) are chip timed! In most cases you will use our disposable race chips. You need to ensure you put these on correctly on your shoe (race instructions will be given via email and this info is on your event information page on your event page).
Can I find the race number list prior to the event?
Yes, your event race list will be online approximately a week prior to your event. Please make a note of your race number and that of friends as you will collect your race pack on the morning of the run.
What happens if I don't receive my race email?
If you don’t receive your race email it may be because the wrong email address was inputted or the race email went in to your junk mail so please check carefully. All information will can be found by logging in to your user profile and your race number will show within this account area.
Can I Enter a team?
Absolutely! Get as many friends, family or colleagues together and run as a team. You are not required to run together and each person will receive their own time however it's just fun to run under a team name.
Can I run with a buggy?
Yes this is typically ok for most locations however please check the run route course as some locations can be a mix of path, trail, grass so not always suitable for running with a buggy. Also please try and stay to the left as much as possible to give room for other runners.
Can I volunteer to marshal at the event?
Absolutely! If you miss out on a place or just want to help out on the day and marshal that would be great. You would be there to support and encourage all entrants. Contact us by filling the form to express your interest. We would welcome you to join our team.
The Fix Events refund policy is: Up to 14 days before the event you can either (i) cancel and receive a 60% refund or (ii) transfer your registration to another Fix Event (£5 transfer fee applies). Alternatively, you can transfer your place to someone else you know who may wish to take part. To do so you must email email@example.com. Unfortunately, after that, we cannot give refunds or transfer your entry to another event.
