Running

We returned to the beautiful Herne Bay for our Summer Run this weekend.  Running from Herne Bay to Whitstable and back our competitors put in a massive effort to complete their run in blazing hot heat, but luckily with a bit of a cool sea breeze to help them along.

 

First up the kids race of 1.5km was completed by some super strong Olympians-to-be, with some fantastic times being posted by all.  Then it was onto the 5k and 10k races, with our runners running along the sea front for half of their distance and then coming back in to Hampton Pier Recreation Ground for medals and treats and the finish line.

 

It was great to be back in Kent as it’s one of our favourite locations and we will be back again in November for our Whitstable and Herne Bay MoRun event.  We look forward to seeing you there!
