Running
By Chris Geisler
On Saturday we held our third and final Richmond Riverside 10K race of the year. This time it was Autumns turn to host the Run, however it certainly didn’t feel like it as the sun beamed throughout the morning and provided what felt like a Summers Run. The event was held at Ham House, one of our favourite venues which is perched on the side of a lovely section of the River Thames.
We welcomed 350+ runners on the day to Run the flat 10K route up and back along the River which always provides some lovely scenery. As the atmosphere in our hub began to grow in the early morning, we had our regular John’s Melt Cafe on site to cater to everyones coffee and breakfast needs. Once registration was complete we had a juicy warm-up provided by the fantastic Swedish Fit Crew who are always a delight to have build up the energy just before the Start.
All finishing challengers were met by a large number of spectators which we can’t thank enough for consistently cheering and praising from the first person over the line to the last. The event was absolutely awesome if we do say so, the energy at the finish was simply electric and that was felt by all taking part.
Thank you and stay tuned for more fun, high energy events!
