Running
By Nathan Birdsall
The Fix Events returned to our home from home at Richmond Park this weekend for Race Four of our Run Richmond Park series.
The rain held off during our early morning set up as we set up our flat and fast 5k route going from East Sheen gate, up to Queens Road and then along Sawyers Hill. There was a great turn out and fantastic buzz within the event hub before we set off our 5k race at 10am and then the 10k race a little after.
Unfortunately, the rain started just as we about to start the race so but in between drizzle we had perfect running conditions for our first near-spring event of the year. We briefed our runners on the muddy sections and to keep an eye out for the deer just before we set them off to complete one or two laps of Richmond Park depending on their chosen distances.
There were some fantastic times posted and all individual times can be found live on the event page now. Check out to see where you’re ranked and whether you beat that Personal Best!
Thanks everyone who made it down on Saturday, it’s great to see you all there raring to go every month and we hope to see you again at the end of March!
