Running

The Fix Events returned to North London’s Trent Park for the inaugural race of our new race series ‘The North London 5k and 10k’.  This was our Spring event at the beautifully scenic Trent Park located in Enfield and we will be returning in the Summer and Autumn too.

 

The rain and snow has been rather more than expected for March this year and as such our normally pristine grass sections were a tad muddy to say the least.  Not to be deterred, our brave runners arrived early in the morning drizzle and put in a massive effort to tame our tough, hilly, muddy, trail and path run!  There were muddy knees and high fives aplenty back at the event village with everyone picking up a super-cool North London Run medal and soaking up our fun, friendly atmosphere.

 

The North London Run series is supporting the Nightingale Cancer Support Centre for all three events at Trent Park this year.  They do fantastic work in the Enfield area for those affected by cancer.  If you’re looking to join our events this year please check them out and show them your support as they’re a really great cause to run for.
