British Grand Prix, Silverstone, Northamptonshire

Iconic Silverstone is the once again the location for British Grand Prix, from 8thto 10thJuly 2016. Cartier International Day Sunday 25th July at Smith’s Lawn, Windsor Great Park, Egham, Surrey

This superb sailing regatta has been running for almost a century since it began in 1826 and shows no decline in popularity. In fact, it’s fast becoming one of the sailing, sporting and social events of the year, with up to 1,000 boats participating in some serious regatta racing against a fine festival backdrop.

Just as Henley attracts rowers from all sides of the sport, so Cowes also sees world-class and Olympic sailors alongside casual crews – that’s around 8,500 competitors in total. Cowes Week is traditionally held on the picturesque Isle of Wight, which lends itself to the holiday atmosphere of this event with plenty of parties, shore-side attractions and hospitality opportunities.
