We are looking for an event manager to join our Fix Events team. This is a great opportunity for a dynamic individual to join our growing company. The Fix Events are one of the leading multisport event management companies across the UK. The role will initially be a 3 month contract with potential for this to be extended to a full time position. The role is based partly from home and partly from our office in Reigate, Surrey.

About the Role

Taking on the organisation and management of Fix Events which includes fun runs, triathlons, corporate and charity events. This entails driving to events (valid UK licence is required), setting up the event hub, marking out and managing the course and managing all related aspects to ensure the event is a success.
Planning and logistics of events.
Communication with associated event partners.
Promotion and planning pre-events.
Researching and finding new clients.
Local marketing of events.
Administration and communication with participants.

Motivated and driven whether you are setting up an event in the dark, rain, wind or glorious sunshine
Can handle pressure
A good communicator, you will have a natural ability to build rapport with people at all levels
You will be able to manage all areas of event management from setting up gazebos, marking out an event course, to clearing up rubbish and be happy to cover all bases
You will be a team player
Good computer skills, communication and be happy to make calls, chase suppliers, promote the events
You will have a commitment to our vision, mission and belief

The salary is based on a £16,000 income with a bonus scheme for hitting targets with event numbers. There is opportunity to develop new events under The Fix Events brand and income can increase up to £25,000 to £30,000 depending on results.
